How:

  1. Tape a short clip, upload it to YouTube
  2. Tag your video Reading Terri Farley Rocks 2012
  3. Submit Entry Form (below) and link to Terri at AuthoringChange@aol.com March 1-27th, 2012
    • You must submit an Entry Form that includes full name and parent/guardian permission (for readers under 18).
    • Your trailer must be G rated
    • Your trailer must be created with your own materials (images, audio, video).You may also use Creative Commons, iMovie, SoundzAbound or other royalty free material with a crediting slide.
    • Your trailer must be 1 - 2 minutes long
    • Judging will be based on creativity, accuracy and style
    • Judges: a panel of librarians and published writers, including Terri Farley
    • Winners and prizes will be announced April 1, 2012.

Teachers, librarians and online sources (also, parents and friends, but pets? Not so much) can supply lots of tips on how to make book trailers.

Entrant retains all other rights and may use the Reading Terri Farley Rocks 2012 contest trailer for class projects, library events, other contests, etc.
